The Renegades are recruiting! We are currently looking for new:
The Renegades held their second and final rookie session on Sunday 22th January at Palmer Park. Both sessions have been well attended with over 25 new players at each session. Coach Paul Gordon commented "There has been some very talented athletes attending the tryouts, many new to the sport. The coaching staff are looking forward to working with them and the new challenges of playing Division 1 football."
The Renegades resume full training on the 5th February at Palmer Park, Reading, 12pm Start. New players can still attend. As well as prospective players the Renegades are also still looking for game day helpers, so if you are able to help out here please get in touch.

During the season 2010/2011 the Renegades started to raise funds for the Royal Berkshire Charity – Robbie the Robot Appeal. This is a cutting edge medical robot that enables the surgeons to perform key-hole surgery. The majority of procedures involve prostate removal but other types of procedures are now being undertaken.
In the forth coming season 2012/2013 the aim is double the £400 which was raised last season by running a raffle at the Super Bowl Party, holding a race night and summer BBQs.
If anyone is interested in learning more about the appeal, please click on the link which will take you to the Charity website.
