Royal Berkshire Charity - Robbie the Robot Appeal

posted by: The Management -- Thu, 12 Jan 2012

During the season 2010/2011 the Renegades started to raise funds for the Royal Berkshire Charity – Robbie the Robot Appeal. This is a cutting edge medical robot that enables the surgeons to perform key-hole surgery. The majority of procedures involve prostate removal but other types of procedures are now being undertaken.

In the forth coming season 2012/2013 the aim is double the £400 which was raised last season by running a raffle at the Super Bowl Party, holding a race night and summer BBQs.

If anyone is interested in learning more about the appeal, please click on the link which will take you to the Charity website.
