Reading Renegades 6 - 41 Andover Thrashers

The Andover Thrashers did their play off aspirations no harm at all as the posted twenty eight unanswered points, against bottom club Reading Renegades, by the half time whistle. The second half saw the visiting Thrashers notch up another thirteen points and the Renegades got a consolation six.

Renegades Routed By Warriors

Reading Renegades 0 - 54 South Wales Warriors

South Wales Warriors made it six wins in a row to remain unbeaten and move ever closer to both the divisional title and the 2007 play offs.

In a one sided affair the Warriors, were initially held by the Renegades to just seven points in the first quarter. Then in the second quarter the South Wales offense cut loose scoring nineteen, while keeping Reading out of the endzone, to leave the field at half time with a 26-0 scoreline.

Into the second half and there was to be no respite for the visitors as they shipped in fifteen points in the third quarter and fourteen in the fourth. Once again the Renegades were unable to penetrate the Warriors stingy defense, leaving the final score 54-0.

Renegades On Winning Streak!

Renegades 13 - 12 Cheetahs

Chiltern Cheetahs, lost to Reading Renegades in a match-up that was decided by one-point. Reading opened the scoring in the first period courtesy of a four-yard run from Lyttle and conversion from kicker, Kent.

In the second quarter the Cheetahs hit back with a forty-four yard scoring pass from Quarterback Symonds to receiver Mayo and half time came with the Renegades leading by a single point.

In the second half, both teams chalked up a further six points – again through Mayo and Lyttle – and so the Renegades were still in front by a point as the clock ticked down to the final whistle.

BAFL Week 11 Preview - Reading vs Chiltern

Two fairly evenly matched teams meet in this game. Visiting Chiltern Cheetahs (South East) have a 1-4 record while hosts Reading Renegades (South West) are at 1-3. Both offenses have not found it easy to put points on the board, while their defenses have proved to be less than water tight, the Renegades have shipped in 122 and the Cheetahs 139.
