South Wales Warriors 12 Reading Renegades 6
The Warriors headed back home to Wales with a win – but only just. A third quarter score proved to be just enough for South Wales to take the victory in this very hard fought game. After the teams having gone into the break tied at six points, the Warriors now take a 2-0 record into their next match against divisional rivals Plymouth Admirals.
While the Renegades, now 0-2, were left to think of what might have been as they prepare for a visit to Cornish Sharks next weekend.
